Audition Notes

You register for your audition by clicking on the “Order Now” button, then click on “Get Tickets” and complete the order information. Once you complete the order, you will receive an email confirmation and a link to a Google Form to complete additional information, upload your headshot/resume, etc. 

Audition Requirements

Please prepare a song in the style of the show. You may be asked to read from one of the audition scenes and/or songs which can be found in the AUDITION MATERIALS link above. This link will provide you with a copy of all the material including practice tracks to learn the songs. Hard copies will be available at the theatre on Saturday as well. Please no heavy Italian accents are needed for your audition - we have a dialect coach as part of the production team.

Character Breakdown: Guido Contini

(he/him): late 30’s-early 40’s as he is turning 40 years old soon. A world-famous Italian film director whose career is plummeting after several financial and critical failures. He is in the midst of a deep artistic crisis which forces him to examine every aspect of his life and relationships.Passionate, charismatic, always searching, non-cynical, magnetic and sexy to those around him. Must be comfortable with staged intimacy (i.e., kissing, hugging). Baritone.

Show Dates

October 18, 19, @ 24-27

• There will be no performance on October 20.

• Load-in and tech week will commence on October 11.

• Invited Dress will be on October 17.

*You must be available for all performances and the invited dress.
